Yard signs, also called lawn signs or corrugated plastic signs, are the easiest way to put your message where people walk and drive. They're light, they go into the ground in seconds, and they work for a single open house or a whole neighborhood campaign.

Pick a size, choose one or two printed sides, add stakes if you need them, and upload your artwork. Real people check every file before it prints.

Yard sign sizes and best uses

Most people order 18 × 24 in. It's big enough to read from the street and small enough to stake almost anywhere. Go bigger when your sign needs to be read from a moving car or from across a parking lot. For more help, see our yard sign sizes guide.

Size (in) Orientation Best for
18 × 24 / 24 × 18 Portrait or landscape The everyday choice: business lawn signs, contractor signs, event directions, school and campaign signs
18 × 12 Landscape Short directional arrows, parking notes, small "this way" signs
24 × 16 Landscape A slightly wider look for a logo plus a phone number
24 × 24 Square Logos and bold one-word messages that need to stand out
24 × 36 / 36 × 24 Portrait or landscape Roadside signs, parking lot signs and anything read from a car
24 × 6 rider Landscape strip Add-on line like "Open House," "Now Hiring" or a phone number

Options: sides, stakes, riders and reflective

Three navy Open House directional yard signs placed along a sidewalk

Single or double-sided

If people will see your sign from both directions, like on a corner or along a road, choose double-sided. If the sign sits against a fence or a building, single-sided is all you need.

  • Double-sided: corners, medians, roadsides, directional signs
  • Single-sided: fences, walls, storefront windows

H-stakes

Add an H-stake to push your sign straight into the lawn. No tools needed. Skip them if you're zip-tying signs to a fence or hanging them indoors.

Riders

A 24 × 6 in rider sits above or below your main sign. Use it to add a short message without reprinting the whole sign.

Reflective yard signs

Our reflective corrugated plastic signs catch headlights, so your message stays visible at night. Good for driveways, entrances and event parking.

Tip. Keep it to about six words and one phone number or web address. Big, dark text on a light background reads best from the street. See how to design a readable sign.

Who uses yard signs

Directional yard signs, a course-map poster stand and a backdrop at a 5K race

Businesses, events and campaigns

Yard signs do a lot of quiet work. They tell neighbors who did the job, point runners to the start line and remind voters what's on the ballot.

  • Contractors, landscapers, roofers and painters at job sites
  • Real estate agents for open house directions
  • 5Ks, festivals, fundraisers and parking directions
  • Schools, churches and community groups
  • Political and campaign signs for any candidate or cause
