Printing questions, answered
How fast will I get my order?
Order by 12pm and your order ships the next business day from our East Coast or West Coast location, whichever is closer to you. With free FedEx 2Day® on orders $99+, most orders arrive about 3 business days after you order.
Delivery is covered by our On-Time Delivery Guarantee: if we're running behind on our end, we upgrade your shipping to overnight at our cost.
Will I see a proof before you print?
Yes. Upload your PDF and our online proof shows your design with the trim and safe lines, so you can see exactly what will print. That step is already counted in the next-business-day ship time.
How should I set up my file?
Upload a PDF at the finished size plus 0.125" bleed on every side, and keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim. For two-sided pieces, put the front on page 1 and the back on page 2. Envelopes are the exception: they are printed after they are made, so set them up at the exact size with no bleed.
I don't have a print-ready file. Can I still order?
Yes. Send us your file in any format and we'll prepare it for print and send you a proof to approve before anything is printed.
Gloss, matte or uncoated: which should I choose?
Gloss makes photos and colors pop. Matte has a smooth, low-glare finish that looks modern and is easy to read. Uncoated has a natural paper feel and is the easiest to write on with any pen, so choose it for anything people will sign, address or fill in.
What do pt and lb mean?
Points (pt) measure cardstock thickness: 14 pt is our thickest, about as rigid as a quality business card, and 10 pt is a little thinner and more flexible. Pounds (lb) describe paper weight: text paper like 80 or 100 lb is what flyers and brochures use, and cover paper is heavier and stiffer.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Every order is covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If there's a print or finishing defect, we'll reprint and reship your order for free or refund you in full. Just email support@bklet.com within 30 days with your order number and a few photos.
Do you offer bulk pricing?
Yes. The price per piece drops as your quantity goes up; you can see the savings in the price table above. For very large runs, or anything custom, request a custom estimate and we'll get back to you quickly.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only, from our East Coast and West Coast locations.
